What Do You Need to Know About Truck Scales?

Truck scale is a large scale set on the ground, usually used to weigh the tonnage of trucks. It is the main weighing equipment used for bulk cargo measurement in factories, mines, merchants, etc.

Truck weights can be divided into I-beam, T-beam, L-beam, U-beam, channel and reinforced concrete weights according to the structure of the scale body. Truck weights can be divided into digital weights and analog weights according to the type of sensors.

1. Suggestions for Truck Scale

The installation position of electronic weighing should have a good drainage channel. The installation position should not be lower than around. Otherwise, because of the low terrain, water will accumulate, the weighing will be submerged and the sensor will be damaged when it rains. For shallow foundation pits, drainage channels should be set up. In addition, there must be a straight road of sufficient length at both ends for the vehicle to go up and down the scale, and the straight road at both ends should be at least equal to the length of the scale.

2. Truck Scale Matters Needing Attention

The concrete foundation must be poured. The foundation must be excavated below the local frozen soil line. The concrete label should be ensured in the construction. The size of the pre-embedded parts should be guaranteed such as the level and position. The pre-embedded parts should not be displaced when pouring concrete. After the foundation is poured, it should be maintained in accordance with the civil code. Only when the concrete reaches the design strength index, can the floor weight be installed.

If the maintenance period is to be shortened, measures such as adding "early strength agent" under the guidance of professional and technical personnel are allowed during construction. In order to prevent lightning, a grounding pile should be set up according to local conditions, and the grounding resistance should be less than 4 Euros. An iron pipe should be laid from the center of the weighing platform to the weighing room for passing through the signal cable.

3. Advantages and Disadvantages of Truck Scale

Shallow foundation pit that is electronic weighing load cell installed underground, after installation, the surface of the weighing is even with the ground. The advantage is that it occupies less land and does not need to make slopes. This method is suitable for customers with smaller sites, but it is necessary to ensure that the situation is higher. The disadvantage is that if the nearby terrain is low, it is easy to be affected by rainwater, and is not conducive to maintenance and after-sales maintenance. The poor underground ventilation conditions have an impact on the overall life of the floor weights.

Ground weights without foundation pit are installed on the ground surface, and the surface of the ground weights is higher than the ground surface, the weighing display indicator is can be seen. It is necessary to make slopes on both sides to facilitate getting on and off. The advantages are that the basic method is relatively simple, easy to maintain, installed on the ground, conducive to ventilation, prolong the life of the pound, higher than the ground is conducive to drainage. No foundation pit is especially suitable for larger customers, or the original ground has cast concrete, do not want to re-excavate the foundation pit. The disadvantage is that it needs to make slopes on both sides and occupies a large area.
